Hmm that's of as I'm using a lighter MS in my 9mm's

Did you use the MS cap from the ILS MS housing?
If so, did you use a MS Cap pin to retain everything?
If yes to both, that is your issue.
BTW, the factory MS is ~28#.

Not sure, but we'll find out tomorrow. On another forum the STI rep said it won't be available separately.

The STI DVC Open is STI's top-of-the line Open Division pistol. Clean lines, smooth curves, a 2-lb trigger pull, and two competition magazines make the DVC Open pistol race ready. The bold aesthetics feature a hard chrome finish with a contrasting barrel/compensator in Titanium Nitride. Dramatic lightening cuts have been added to the slide to help reduce felt recoil and to make this the lightest compensated model in the STI line. An enhanced sear, hammer, and trigger mechanism produce a crisp, consistent 2 lb trigger pull with improved trigger reset. Responsive handling and control is achieved with specialty texturing and improved ergonomic grip design. The oversize magwell allows for quicker and easier magazine reloads.

The STI DVC LTD is STI's top-of-the line Limited Division pistol. Clean lines, smooth curves, a 2-lb trigger pull, and two competition magazines make the DVC LTD pistol race ready. The bold aesthetics feature a hard chrome finish with a contrasting barrel in Titanium Nitride. Dramatic lightening cuts have been added to both the slide and the dust cover to help reduce felt recoil and to make this the lightest model in the STI limited line. An enhanced sear, hammer, and trigger mechanism produce a crisp, consistent 2 lb trigger pull with improved trigger reset. Responsive handling and control is achieved with specialty texturing and improved ergonomic grip design. The oversize magwell fits the IPSC box yet still allows for quicker and easier magazine reloads.

Buying guns is fun, BUT you have to find a gun that you work with best. In a match in October, a friend shot his Legion 9mm 2011 in the morning, and in the afternoon he shot my modified G34 (both in Limited minor). He actually shot the G34 better and is planning to buy it from me. The difference in his scores was ~6%.

They are back in stock. They also have another BOSS to work with the Tek-Lok and Safariland attachmentsI have ordered the BOSS as well based off of many positive reviews. Just waiting for them to come back in stock!

I like MecGars (17rd). I also have a set of nickel plated MecGars from CZC with ShockBottle basepads.
The regular MecGars are stock.
All the above is for Production.
I sold my factory 18rd mags because during spirited reloads, the base pads pop off.

Price for Whoops upper just went up. LOL

If you don't need an adjustable, how about the 10-8 MRS.
I've been running it since it came out and haven't had an issue.
-
Contact the smith that built your gun.
If you don't want to do that, you can dimple the sight base to tighten it up, along with some loctite.

Selling the frame would be easier than trying to find a cheaper slide
