  1. ...heh,IF I don't miss? I better bring 250 with me count me in,I'll be a walk on saturday.if it will make it easier, pm me and I can give you my info so the stats person can have it and i'll pay then.
  2. Try and avoid running 2 stages in one bay,it creates an incredible bottle neck. Also if you opt for open squadding, have the #2 r.o. do a roll call every few shooters ,if no one answers put their sheet to the botom of the stack.this will eliminate the folks who feel it necessary to put their sheets on every stage at the same time.
  3. shot this for the first ime this weekend... limited- 30 points -4.05 seconds hit factor of 7.4 something. draw to first shot killed me.
  4. this wouldn't be the slats stage would it? http://www.brianenos.com/cgi-bin/ikonboard...33&topic=12 (Edited by paranoid at 10:30 pm on Oct. 23, 2002)
  5. whats the round count going to be? need to know how much ammo to load ...shameless bump to the top.
  6. ...before I started reloading I used to use the winchester white box, federal american eagle and UMC 180 grn. They all chrono'd right at 1000 fps.I prefered the umc more for the shape of the bullet as it had rounded shoulders.
  7. we used 4 seperate timers ...like i said earlier,I was quite surprised at how the better shooters failed to clean this one up.
  8. my load for universal was 5.0 grains @1.135 with a 180 grn plated berrys, would chrono at 950-975 fps out of a 5 inch bbl.
  9. results are up on the uspsa page... Limited TOMMY CAMPBELL CL5 189 Open MICHAEL AUGER F22662 265 Total: 454 we need a report on the match,it looks like all the big names crashed and burnt.
  10. my hit factor for limited came in at 52.2% nationaly FWIW (Edited by paranoid at 7:26 pm on Aug. 6, 2002)
  11. Ahhhh...the "tarzan stage",my wife still laughs at the "nimble agility" I showed during that one! I shot the poppers that activated the car and simply hopped off the car before it started moving.
  12. WOO HOO! This match is lots of fun!I can't wait. I wonder what kind of stage Mark Olivas is going to design this year? seems like last year every one saved the "wild ride" stage for last(me included).I only managed to pull a calf muscle on that one. Erik: whats the name of your stage going to be,"HO HO Hoser!" or "How the Grinch stole easy shots"? (Edited by paranoid at 8:40 pm on July 30, 2002)
  13. My load for .40 with universal was 5.0grns with a 180 grn berry's plated @1.135 oal This would chrono out of my 5 inch bbl at 975 fps average. Interestingly the Universal seemed to be alot hotter than the load data from hogdon suggests, maybe it was the bullet I am using,it does shoot clean and I was happy with it. I have since been trying some VV powder.
  14. BSeevers, Have you experienced problems with the linkless? or is the fact that it uses a bushing the main draw back?
  15. thanks for the input,I don't see many briley guns at matches and was curious.I may give Claudio a try.
  16. straight forward classifier shot it this weekend and blew it, wound up with 2 mikes on the first string at 25yds.A definite case of speed kills for me.I shot the first string in 4.6 seconds, should have taken more time to get a better sight picture. I wound up with a hit factor of 4.015,any idea how this will rank nationally?(for limited division)
  17. ...and the "linkless" barrel system? any one have one? are they good? bad? I have a STI frame and was thinking about building into an open blaster
