So, Glenn, how much do you charge for sorting and cleaning brass? It would be worth a few bucks to me....

I don't think a baggage handler has ever "sat a bag on the ground".

...or, to figure out what effect a change in sight height will have in POI:
Sight Change / Sight Radius * Distance to Target = POI Change
Swapping from a .180 to .160 and shooting at 20 yards (720 inches):
.02 / 5.75 * 720 = 2.5" change

That mwx guy ain't too quick on the trigger, is he?
Hmm - He must have the accuracy going for him then, since he seems to come out ahead of you each month. Just sayin'

My guess would be that it is firing out of battery. When you got the slide lightened did youalso go with a lighter recoil spring? If so, I'd try the original to see if it goes all of the way into battery before firing.

My problem was the bolts that went up and into the primer tube housing weren't straight and when tightened would tilt the assembly and bind the primer bar. I don't know if I caused that by overtightening them or if they were drilled wrong but Dillon sent me a new one and all is well. I broke one or two of those silver rods before I found that they weren't the problem.

I swapped parts with a friend until I found the one that was causing trouble for me, though it sounds like you have multiple. Do you have a friend nearby that you could borrow a primer assembly to test?

Correct on the first instance. For the second...
The rules provides a squib as an example of unsafe ammunition. It is not the only type of unsafe ammunition covered by the rule. If it was determined that it was indeed a case separation, then I would consider that to be unsafe ammo and would not grant a reshoot. I would also want to make sure that the gun was still safe to use (undamaged) and that the remaining ammo did not show any visible defects before I would let the shooter continue on the next stage.

Too much finger on the trigger!

Some states have more than one section. Florida has 3:

I'm very tempted. I have a bunch of 30-06 brass that keeps telling me to buy one.

I like this one better. Your old one always made me think weird things.
Oh yeah...blame all your weird thoughts on Joel.
I like it too Joel. I've never understood why people feel they have to use nicknames, or fake names on here. We're all friends, right?Yeah, me too. Why can't....ah, um....nevermind.

I'll be in Santa Fe the 14th and 15th of December. Are there any weeknight matches in the area?
I looked online and only found one indoor range and it closes early.

The copper "plating" on those isn't very thick at all. Also, since (I have heard) a significant portion of the airborn lead is from the primers when firing centerfire I assume that is also true with rimfire.
I thought I had heard of lead-free .22s but this article says no:
