I'm now using 3.8 grains of TiteGroup behind 125 grain LRN through a normal M&P9 and, while I didn't update the spreadsheet with it, it does make 127 or so. My 5" 92 made 129 PF with 3.6 grains so you might as well.

I used to put paint thinner in when I was only using corn cobb media. I've since added brown rice to the corn cobb media, but now don't add the paint thinner (thinking it might soften the rice). Anybody add mineral spirits / paint thinner to rice?

how well does the rice "clean"? does the rice last very long?
I use one part brown rice to 4 parts corn cob media. The rice seems to get more of the junk off the cases while the corn cob stuff polishes better.
The rice seems to last longer than the corn cob stuff. I have read that the brown rice has some oil in it that heps keep the dust down. I throw it (the mixture of rice and corn cob media) out when I start getting dust...don't want the chance of the dust containing lead.

In my experience all ball powders are hotter than others with a similar burn rate.
Is TiteGroup a ball powder? It always looks like flakes to me.

That's the only way I can see me NOT spending waay too much time here! A friend, who shoots USPSA Master, suggested I come here and look around. From what I have seen, this looks like a great resource.
I started shooting 2 1/2 years ago and now shoot USPSA, IDPA-like matches, and some 3-gun stuff. My 10 year old shoots most of them with me. I haven't gotten an official classification from the USPSA, yet, but all of my classifers have been in the middle of C class. I've been bugging my friend to help me kick it up a notch or two and that is what led me here.
Ok, well maybe don't ban me...but can you limit me to 30 minutes a day on here so I can keep my job?

I put 4.8 grains of TiteGroup under 230 grain FMJs from Precision Delta. At 4.6 I barely made 165 PF. 4.8 gives me 175 PF.
I use 4.5 grains of TiteGroup under 230 grain LRN. Those get 179 PF.
Those are all through an M&P45.
