Looks for Match

Looks for Match (2/11)

  1. Looks great warren, Might think about building myself one of them to try out.
  2. Thanks GM I should have mentioned that I was testing in my 38 super STI, I spent a heap of time at the range last week and this weekend and still did not get them to shoot, I even tried the load that I used at the cup last year and it was the same load I used to win the Qld State Champs and the Aussie Nationals with, it' shot about the same size group as the zeros did, normally that load would shoot just under inch at 50. I have done some further inspection of my pistol and noticed that the slide with out barrel fitted has a fair amount of up and down movement with some side to side movement too. I am thinking my slide to frame fit needs some attention. I am sure when i shot the cup last year it fitted better then that.
  3. Just wanting some new load suggestions for the Zero 125gr in .357, I have tried loading them from 1.228 - 1.236 using 4.6 - 4.8gr of N320 with the best group size of 1.5@50 yards. I have also tried using N310 and th best group was with 1.234 OAL with 4.2 gr of 1.5 @ 50, My gun has a barsto barrel That has been slugged and is measuring .3565. If anyone else has got a load that shoots with the Zero .357 dia can you please let me know. These zeros have a canalure as well. I have used XTP/FP and had great results with groups sub inch at 50.
  4. Not sure if this is the correct spot for this, I have a Pact Timer XP that I use the AUX socket with the 5v output for turning targets and mine works fine. I have 3 others that will not turn the targets with the AUX socket. The only difference is the firmware version, The older one that works fine is version 1.01e but this one the Chrono does not work it will not read. While the other ones are all version 1.05a25 which the 5v AUX output is not working but the chron works fine. I have searched the NET and have not found a solution to this issue, the major problem is I live in Australia and can not contact PACT No email. Any information will be great.
  5. WooHoo I am shooting two guns now. Thanks Damien
  6. Please check my nomination as I am sure I nominated for 2 guns. Thanks Brett

  8. I use N320 in my Open Gun with a 6" barsto barrel, a 125gr XTP FP .357dia pill and I use 4.8gr with a power factor of round the 135- 138. I have not tried the zero 125gr so I can not give you any more information for OAL ect. My Loads shoot under 1" @ 50.
  9. I agree, Or is it to do with the next worlds.
  10. This years prize pool is getting better all the time. It is great to see so many new sponsors and some old ones returning.
  11. I have just had a trigger job done on my (only shot 400 rounds)STI using a Koenig Hammer, Cylinder & Slide sear and a SVI Disconnector. When shooting trigger gets very hard to press, It has been setup for 2# to shoot Action Pistol, I did how ever find that when I was cleaning the pistol that the disconnector when pressed down was very notchy and did stick at one stage then popped back up and it was not pressed below the frame only to the height it would be from the slide. That was with out pressing the trigger bow. Now I pulled out the disconnector and I could see some wear marks on the side of it from the sear it has sort of smoothed it out a bit in one spot. Am I able to polish the side of the disconnector and take off the slight sharp edges on the side of the disconnector with out touching the surface were the trigger bow and the sear spring sits and the top were it goes through the frame. Any information will be great.
  12. I purchased a SpeedDot 135 and it arrived yeserday. I will be fitting it this weekend and sight it in and then seeing how it goes.
  13. This all sounds great. I will be back next year too. Can not wait and will be great to see the improved ranges.
  14. Just got back In Bundy, Shoot was great, Had a ball, Really good to see 11 shooters heading to final event clean, I managed to finished 12th. Would like to thank all those who attended and also Blacktown Pistol Club, SSAA for hosting the WAPC 2010.

I will have to try a different scope. The Aimpoint had very little parallax but I could not use it as I was getting to Targets to shoot at. Will try for a new one after the worlds.
