I'm hoping the guys who like the 10 round limit will come over and shoot single stack. We could use more people here.

I really don't shoot much production anymore, I know the few guys at our club really want it to stay at 10 rounds.

With production at 10 rounds, there are still some low capacity competition with production and single stack at the local matches. If production goes 15 rounds that leaves single stack all alone. I know it's not a big deal as low capacity is dying across the board.

What about course design makes Single Stack not fun? I would prefer a 30 round stage where I have to break it down and plan my reloads correctly versus a 12-15 round stage. I think everyone keeps looking at overall standings and thinks that is what defines the fun factor.

Just curious, has anyone taken Amtrak to a match. They go from Iowa to Grand Junction. Can you take guns on Amtrak?

I have an awesome Shadow 2 Orange that I would like to shoot in Limited Optics until I can get hold of a TS 2 Orange. I want to change the trigger to single action so that it feels more like my Parrot. The single action is nice, but not as nice as my Parrot. I don't want the changes to be permanent. Is this possible? What parts would I need?

I think the timer maxes out at 25 minutes, so that's what I go by. Some parts like the slide stop, recoil spring, and recoil rod don't take as long.

I have a RCBS ultrasonic cleaner that use for all of my handguns. CZ Parrot, Shadow 2 Orange, revolvers, Glocks, and several 1911s. I use the purple Simple Green cleaner. Like the others have said, let it get hot, rinse it off, blow it dry and re-oil it. I disassemble the gun and put the whole thing in there (no grips). Been doing it for years

My Venom 9mm 1911 came with a Tripp mag with the basepad to fit the Dawson magwell. They work perfectly, I bought 5 more from Dawson...

I think my biggest concern is not how to increase participation, but how to prevent those that want to eliminate the low caps altogether for whatever reason from succeeding. The low caps will probably be niche divisions from now on. If you look at the single stack events around the country, they draw reasonable crowds.

I looked at a DWX at my local gun store and notice it a fair amount of play between the slide and frame at the muzzle. Is this normal? My Parrot has some play here also, but not as much.
