  1. I'm confused. As I look on Practiscore, there squads of 12 and no AM/PM choices.
  2. BattleHawk Armory has them for $1340. Nice gun, not sure what the market is for this.
  3. Been shooting 9mm SS for a couple of years now, most fun that I have had in years. Picked up a PM9 and a Venom Custom single stack, superb guns. Put a red dot on the PM9 for shooting indoor LO..
  4. We had an indoor match Wednesday. The production guns jump from 1 to 2. The 15 round didn't a big impact, seemed like the biggest advantage was that more options where to reload.
  5. Is normal to go to executive session so often?
  6. I like the major power factor idea. Well, in listening to the podcast they wanted to be able to sort the results by people who shoot and don't shoot revolver. That sounded encouraging.
  7. Maybe we could just redo L10 to allow optics. Then optic revos, optic single stacks, and optic production guns could play.
  8. If you want to see both meetings they are here on youtube. You can browse thru them much quicker. https://www.youtube.com/@practical.shooting.insights
  9. Do we have to go thru 16 more items before they discuss the revolver rule changes?
  10. I had finally settled on shooting my 9mm single stack with a dot in Limited Optics. If they allow dots in revo, I might have to revisit this. I really didn't like shooting my revo in open.
  11. I see that there is an item on the January 22nd USPSA board meeting agenda that says they will be discussing revolver division rules changes. Any idea what they going to discuss?
  12. I find that my 627 with Alchin mount works really well. I have to be aware that depending on where I sight it in, it might shoot a bit higher or lower at far or near targets. How's that for a word salad?
  13. It's beginning to catch on around here. At our indoor matches, which have a lot of newer shooter, LO and CO are about even. For me(at 72 years old), I can now shoot my single stack with a dot and not have to shoot against open shooters. If I have a good match, I finish in the middle of the pack. I'm really enjoying it.
  14. 2.5lbs is just about ideal for my taste. I hate to make a permanent cut in the slide and lose the iron sights. I'm wondering if there will be an optic ready version coming out. Posvar, I think that you're right, my Parrot hasn't gotten any looser over the years.
  15. Good info, thanks. Do you know if that play increases as time goes on? I'm into 1911's and do all my own trigger work. The combo of CZ and 1911 might make for a nice Limited Optics gun. I talked to Stuart at CZ about some sort of dove tail mount for a red dot, didn't seem like there is one available.
  16. And my $1600 Shadow 2 Orange has zero play, not sure how this applies to my question. I was asking to see if this is normal or if this is a bad example.
  17. I looked at a DWX at my local gun store and notice it a fair amount of play between the slide and frame at the muzzle. Is this normal? My Parrot has some play here also, but not as much.
  18. I have a Venom Custom 1911 in 9mm. It's an outstanding gun.
  19. Thanks, for pointing me to the Instagram info. Everyone should go read that letter, it has pretty good info. Thanks to Scott for working on this...
  20. I'm hoping the guys who like the 10 round limit will come over and shoot single stack. We could use more people here.
  21. I really don't shoot much production anymore, I know the few guys at our club really want it to stay at 10 rounds.
  22. With production at 10 rounds, there are still some low capacity competition with production and single stack at the local matches. If production goes 15 rounds that leaves single stack all alone. I know it's not a big deal as low capacity is dying across the board.
