  1. I´m also in ... I was 5th in Lim10. Looking Forward to my 3rd Nationals (2012 & 2013). Flight and Hotel is also already booked. Now on to the BATF paperwork.
  2. I have just put me up on the waiting list http://uspsa.org/waitlistat 10pm, payed the 10 $ fee and then after logging in on http://uspsa.org my waiting list status was displayed under my classifier record.
  3. Yeaaaaah ... number 5 on the waiting list for the Open, Limited10 Nats :-)

  5. Thanks for the infos! So I guess sometime around summer the waitlist will open and those of us who haven`t earned a slot can try their luck there ... like in the previous years. In 2014 I earned a slot but due to the World Shoot I wasn`t able to compete. And somewhere I heard/ read the rumor that there will be some kind of open entry (first come & first serve basis) for the Nats this year.
  6. Hi! Does anybody know how the slots for the 2015 Open & Limited 10 Nationals in October will be distributed? Will there be a waiting list as usual? Thanks! Marijan
  7. Thanks for your help and all the given advice. Much appreciated. I will simply disamble all my mags and keep the components seperated from each other while in California. Best regards, Marijan
  8. Hi! Before attending the Nationals in Las Vegas this year my girlfriend an I will be touring the west coast a bit ... San Francisco, Yosemite national park etc. Will I encounter any problems when having high capacity mags with me as an NIA (we are from Germany)? Especially in California? Best regards, Marijan
  9. Thanks for the fast replies! Much appreciated!
  10. Hi! I just want to know if the maximum magazine length of 6.742" (171.25mm) still applies to single stack guns in Limited10? Luckily I got a slot for this years Limited10 Nationals and over here in Europe we don't have a limited10 Division. Therefore I'm unsure if I can use my Wilson 10 round .45 mags. Thanks in advance. Marijan
  11. I'm in too for the Limited 10 nationals! Just paid my registration fee. By the way could anybody tell me if there will be a vendor area at the nationals and which vendors will be typically be there? Best regards, Marijan
  12. Only #71 for Lim10/Open. I hope they will goy that deep in the list this year. I am touring the west of the US for three weeks and attending the Lim10 nationals would be the cherry on the cake for that trip.
  13. First pictures are up on Eric`s homepage. Here`s the link: http://www.ericgrauffel.com/airsoft/airsoft_tanfoglio.html

    Holster for x5

Regarding the X5 there is only a limited choice of competition holsters out there. AFAIK only the CR Speed, the Amadini Super Ghost and the new DAA Racemaster are available for the X-Five. I personally use the DAA Racemaster and I like it a lot. An advantage of the Racemaster is the easy change of the insert to use the holster for another gun. You could also use the CR Speed with different guns but the switch is not as convenient as with the Racemaster. For the Racemaster look here: http://www.doublealpha.biz/race_master/holsters/race-master-holster Best regards, Marijan

    P226 X-FIVE OPEN

Hi! A little footage of an X-Five Open can be found here: http://www.europeansteelchallenge.nl/ Just look under media and then click on "Marijan Loch OKP" Then you can see a video of me shooting an X-Five Open in 9mm on Speed Option. Although it is right that Sig Sauer pistols are a rare occasion in the Open Divison a couple of them are used quite successfully here in Europe/ Germany. I myself use X-Five based open guns for Steel Challenge matches (with minor pf) and IPSC matches (with major pf) since becoming member of the Sig Sauer IPSC Team in 2004 besides competing in production and standard. A couple of pictures of my guns can be found in the gallery. I have also attached some pictures of my old shorty set up (shortened X-Five frame with a 226 slide and a C-More) and my current fullsize set up (X-Five 5" with an Aimpoint Micro H1). Both guns are chambered in 9mm. The extraction problems found on some guns are a problem the factory (here in Germany) works hard on. A new extractor with some dimensional changes is in the pipe. I have got some of the prototypes and these work like a charm. Besides this I have never encountered any serious extraction problems that were not ammo related with any of my 7 X-Five slides. On the other hand I know of customer guns that did not extract right from the beginning. One of these guns was sent to me with one of the new extractors after the customer got a refund and now it works like a charm. So I guess the new design might be the solution. Unfortunately I cannot give any further details concerning availability of the new extractor at the moment. But I can assure that the factory works hard to satisfy all its customers. Best regards, Marijan
  16. Hi! Your problems are quite common when using a Sig Sauer with a CR Speed WSM 2. But there is a simple solution. You just have to smoothen up the inside egde of the trigger guard a bit. Take a bit of sandpaper and break up the edge of the trigger guard where the lockin lever of the holster engages. Hope that helps. Best regards, Marijan
  17. Hi Scott, thanks for the fast and detailed answer. Have you ever thought about modifying a magwell for a small frame Tanfoglio/EAA or CZ in order to put it on a sig? What about welding one of Richard Dettelhouser`s magwells for the small frame EAA (Match model) to a X-Five? Best regards, Marijan
  18. Hi Scott, I´m really interested on how you attached the magwell to the X-Five. Could you please tell how you did it? What kind of magwell did you use? I´m shooting an X-Five myself and since the beginning I´m searching for an alternative to the Sig factory magwell. Best regards, Marijan
  19. Marc, as of now I would shoot the major caliber gun because it is quite difficult to overcome the point disadvantage due to the minor scoring. Especially when there are any moving targets or partials minor scoring while competing against others shooting major is disastrous. You are giving away too many points. But if it is a match with lots of open - easy - targets shoting minor is not such a handicap ... if you are shooting a ton of As. Take care, Marijan
  20. Hi Marc, unfortunately I can only stuff 15+1 rounds in my X-Five (.40 S&W of course). So I have to reload quite a bit. I have got one mag setup where I can start with 16+1 rounds but I´m not quite confident in it. When using my 9mm topend I get 20+1 rounds. Best regards, Marijan
  21. Here is a picture of my race gun as it looks now ... and this is my limited gun Best regards, Marijan
  22. Hi, the gun above was made by Harry Beyer from the Sig Sauer custom shop (called "Mastershop"). Below you can see some pictures of my personal X-FIVE Open gun. These are older pictures and I try to post some newer ones. Recently I switched to a three port compensator, lowered the mount a bit and double-undercut the trigger guard. In contrast to the gun above my gun uses a shorter P226 slide instead of the 5" slide of the X-Five so you can call it a "shorty" ;-) Best regards, Marijan
  23. Flexmoney, thanks for the clarification. Best regards, Marijan
