  1. Have standard equipment in rifle stock. I would like to purchase a LMOS carrier , and then reduce weight in my existing buffer.

I read about taking out weight and replacing it with plastic spacers, and delrin.

I have no idea what spacers, and delrin looks like.

Is there something I can go to Home Depot for example, and purchase.

  2. Why have the 3 holes drilled on top at a 1 o'clock on the right side. When doing quick doubles or like yesterday getting to put as many as you can rounds on a moving target traveling aprox 50 feet one way then back again it seemed the muzzle was getting pushed to the left.

  3. Its like shooting black powder at times. Wondering what the thoughts out there for limiting it. Placing light further back from end of barrel, using less or more magnification, and or the more lumens the more haze although atleast 200 lumens are best at my annual match to see targets out past 100yds.

I have shot the match with both 225 lumens and 350 lumens on a 18" CTR02 with TA31 and cooley break , 125 lumens on a 7.5 MSTN upper with EO-tech and pig FH, and last SAT a 225 lumens on a 10.5 Noveke upper with Vortex FH and a EO-tech with 3X mag behind it.

In all cases a chore to see at times. I do have one specific question, is this a problem for iron class shooters also?

  4. I settled on a 140gr molly @ aprox 1.148 oal with 4.0gr of TG comming in at aprox 125pf or less in a 5" STI. The AVG was 856 fps with a ES of 52. If I went less the ES got a lot worse and very much more dirty. It shoots very nice with a 10" ISMI spring.

I'm thinking Clays is going to be better but am stuck with TG for now.

  5. Running out of bullets and money shooting a tactical match tomorrow no PF required I have the above low PF loads available but havent been using them in favor of my decided apon USPSA load of 175 to 176 PF but have to save for next IPSC match...With the lighter loads didnt like the recoil impulse or lack of so had been using them only for practice ,but now need them tomorrow for match so I thought by switching from a 12.5lb spring to a 11lb might help. Dont know why I handnt thought of trying this before, but to late to test.

  6. Used to be Grams for 19rds in most mags then Dawson follower with ISMI spring for 20rds ,and now Bolen spring and follower for 21.

I know others with super tuned mags have gotten more in all cases, but this is how its been for me and I'm okay with it...At my local matches even if I could start with 23 its either to many or still not enough anyway.

  7. The Hell with it. I shot my ProChrono Digital and thought I should consider another brand/model but after reading all the different pros and cons for the cheapest all the way up to the most expensive Chronos its to crazy. The so called better chronos seem to have as many problems as the cheap ones if you read this thread,so I ordered another ProChrono Digital. Atleast as far as I know it worked fine and cheap also.

  8. This video may or may not help you, but it's what I used to earn how to reassemble my 1911. I don't own any STI pistols, so I don't know if this will help.

Thanks thats a big help. One question though.I could of sweared that I had that leaf spring in the correct position without taking my ambi safety off or the beaver tail,so is this possible or I'm I wrong and the beaver and ambi have to be off to correctly seat the leaf spring?
