Most of the differ in FPS between a 16" and 20" is gained before 18",and with, like my JP you will have a further out gas block for smoother operation.

I saw people with choate 6 round competition shot shell holders that they got at a major match,they said .Choates them selves only show the normal one you have to thread your belt thru .I was also told you could also update your old one by buying the back plate by it self.Brownells also dead end.

5" low at 300 W/50yd zero.With what Grain,FPS,and height of sight line?In my case i beleive i'm around -6.9 W/60gr VMAX at average felocity3082,-10.2 W/69gr MK at 2770, with irons and acog on 18"JP.

Tried it for a couple months.Took it out.Something about it just didnt feel right?

I like when i sent my SVI frame in with my visa number for them to switch out the grip with another one i bought and put the main spring housing in correctly after i couldnt,gladly willing to pay, and then get it back in two weeks all done with only a ship charge.

Just want the simplest set up to chrono rifle bullets.the pro chrono digital looks good ,but i saw one at the range and it had a remote box sitting on the table displaynig shots it looks good to.

I am not afraid of recoil,infact the gun i shoot the fastest is my lighter STI 45 short dust cover ,but after retiring it infavor of a SVI 19 round 40cal a few years ago i have struggled more firing fast doubles with it than i ever did with my 45.I have tried lighter springs ,springco recoil reducer ,differ hold,and even now as i write this a differ grip,all this to get it to shoot as easy as the 45 was to me.The only thing i can think of now is that the heavier SVI w/long cover must for some reason be a hinderance for me ,so if its not the grip problem ,and i say that because my smoking hole grip on the 45 feels noticably better than how he did on my SVI grip ,then i am checking all other possible options before i fork out another 1700.00 dollars on a SVI or STI 40cal with short dustcover.Glocks are much cheaper just to experiment with.It might be my shooting style requires a certain type of muzzel flip,i dont know,i only know that from day one the heavier gun has been more labor intensive for mr to shoot.

I am shooting a long dust cover 5" SVI,how does a 5 inch glock compare in the same caliber and length.

who really does a grip reduction?Some time back a company ,who is out of business now called smoking hole did a 45 sti for me on my grip,so when i went to a svi 40 cal i sent that one in also, and there is no dought that the the first sti 45 i sent in is much better feel as my middle finger folds around the grip.Its obvious he did more on the first one than just cut up under the trigger guard as i suspect was only done on my second grip explaining the difference.

Black hills has a 60gr V-MAX load i was thinking about trying,but i know Nosler ballistic tip 55gr load seems to be popular.Anyone like V-MAX?

I have just switched to a 69gr moly.My question is,for whatever reason if i should want or have to switch from moly to non moly bullets during a match , and without JB scrubbing my barrel ,is it a accuracy question or will it harm the barrel?My intent is to shoot up my 55gr nonmoly at close in stages .

I thougt i read back when i purchased my m1-practical that it wasnt a good idea to use 1 ounce loads?I have been using 4 bird w/1 1/4 ounce loads for a long time at my monthly match ,regardless of target or distance, and today i discovered that remington 6 bird 1 ounce loads work just fine with a lot and i mean alot less recoil.

Just received my JP-CTR-02.It felt like my arms were to short all of the sudden.I measured the stock length and it's about a 1/4 inch longer than an A-2 length, but it feels like a mile.Why are the stocks getting longer ,and is there a SPI length after market stock i can buy.

GG&G makes a replacement.I am waiting untill i decide if a longer barrel is worth it if you are shooting limited,because as it is now i can load the 8 max currently using 18 1/2 inch barrel and standard full length mag tube.

Benelli says for slugs dont use less than IC,yet in a artical a writer is describing shooting his benelli with slugs using M choke.Can you or cant you.Logic would dictate dont do something the manufacture tells you not to unless there something else going on?

I'm now using the CTR-02 with LW 18" barrel,cooley break,LMOS system,and JP plastic hooked stock without the rod,and think its worth it,and would do it again .The only minor disappointed was that my ajustable gas block didnt seem to ajust much with 60gr V MAX at aprox 2950fps before turning into a single shot.
