Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. We need a few more clubs in Ky. There's a lot of room for the sport of pistol shooting to grow within our state. Bowling Green is growing at a very rapid pace. There's no reason they can't support a very nice range. Remember.... advertise, advertise, advertise. Have a free sight your deer rifle day at the range or something like that and list it in all of the surrounding newspapers, radio stations and sporting goods stores. Going to a public range for the first time is very intimidating.
  2. This was my first year and I will be back. This is the most fun I have had at a pistol match since I attended the American Handgunner in 2003. I couldn't believe the discipline it takes to shoot that many strings of steel consistently.
  3. Thanks Jake, I have been looking for a lead to follow. I have been doing some of Mr. Anderson's drills with very good success in a short period of time. Your routine added to what I am already doing should make for a complete practice session. -Jeremy
  4. Smoke n Hope 2.30 sec. Paradox 3.36 sec
  5. Try to keep your gun at eye level when opening doors, reloading, moving, etc. It's safer and the gun is already where it needs to be to get back on target.
  6. Mr. Bane I can't express how appreciative I am that your shows are on television. If it wasn't for westerns and Wednesday night at the Range I would stop paying for television. Thanks again.
  7. Yeah, watching a good, inspiration flick can be a great way to get ready, and keep some "normalcy" around the day before a match A little light dry fire maybe, and that's about it... What about "3000 Miles to Graceland"? I love the gun fight scenes in that movie.
  8. He said that the trip was pretty cool. Seeing all of those machine guns and how they make the barrels and stuff. I got to tour the Sierra bullets and the Starline brass factories once. I was impressed at how bullets and brass' are made and the amount of them they can make in a given day.
  9. Chris, I'll keep my eyes open for a classifier match. We can twist on Gary's ear about one also.
  10. 17942 pts. the sound definately helps.
  11. I would like to see a classifier match with 5 or 6 classifiers. THey had one in Marion, Illinois last month but I couldn't make it.
  12. Looking forward to this one Chris. See you there. Jeremy Dempsey
  13. Sorry to hear about your brother. Godspeed
