Yea but extra hole will go to the Mr Bulletfeeder.

50/50 mix of both is what I use, with a little polish it comes out really shiny!!

Have been using a 550 for close to 10 years and have been very happy with it. I am shooting more and more these days and I decided that I needed more production out of my press. I have ordered an XL 650 with case feeder and Mr Bulletfeeder so hopefully I can really pound out some .45 now in less time. Reloading has always been a means to an end to shoot and not a hobby per say. I am excited about being able to crank out good rounds faster and spend less time at the bench. Anyways I have all my dies from my 550 which will fit in the 650 but I was wondering if it's worth it to get a seat/crimp die so I can put a put a powder measure station in, or just stick with what I have and not use the powder measure station? With the auto indexing it should really reduce the chance of double charges. I plan on using my 550 to load out .308 and .223 now. I don't think I need to do anything to it to be able to do rifle right?

Swarovski Ballistic BRT Software Question
manderson2228 replied to DMAC's topic in Rifle - Technical
Do you guys shoot a specific weight bullett to make it match up with the reticle or is there some way to allow it to adjust for any weight bullett. I am very new to the rifle shooting trying to figure it all out, ballistic programs, and reticles.. It really can make your head spin with you are starting out -
Swarovski Ballistic BRT Software Question

Figures that it's not listed anymore, i just ordered mine.. Also anyone else notice the price increase?? -
I think thats the point some people are trying to make though, does the speed of USPSA and the high speed guns... Make it harder for you to transition to a "normal" type gun? I am sure Chris T doesn't carry his open gun when he goes to the bad part of town. Is the speed and tricked out guns actually hurting us?

You know what, I agree I wouldn't mind seeing the classifier stages changed too. I didn't even think of this but when you mentioned it.. yea.. I'd like to see a change. I made master last year, I don't really care one way or another about a GM class. I try my best and can be competitive most days, at the end of the day I have always been the kind of guy who wants to win when i go out there and have always felt that I just need to step it up to beat some of the better shooters out there. That said, it's hard to compete with the top talent, who shoot multiple times a week, and or work in the business. I work in IT and can't exactly dedicate the time they do at getting better. Is that an excuse? no.. I am not sure if i triple my training time I can compete with Sevigny, but I do feel I would be a lot closer..Is what it is i guess, but i dont thing a GM class would fix anything, or that anything needs fixing. I can think of multiple things that need fixing the classes aren't one of them.

It's been a little while since i've needed to get more brass.. I was wondering where you guys are getting your once fired brass from? Looking for .45 specifically
-
It is hard to change it, and on the move in the middle of the match I bet it would be even harder. Mine has run good so far, except a problem with the illumination turned off during a match..I took the cap off put it back on and it seems ok now.. We will see going forward. I like the illumination of it a lot though..

We practice by shooting stages almost as good during the monthly matches. Delta is ready when you are! -

I am waiting too. I grew up a few miles from the range. I'd like to go and visit with the family and shoot the match. -
Are you guys using a 100 or 200 yard zero with this scope? If 200 you are using the 200 yard dot right?
-
I just got mine in and boy am i impressed. I can't wait to mount it and try it out. My new lower should be here tomorrow as well as the larue mount. The glass is really clear and i think it should be fine for the up close hoser stages as well as the longer ones.. great scope.. thanks for all the advice!!

No worries I just ordered from midway.. Just about the same price with my dealer discount.. This is the last time i post in this forum.. I can't afford to post more.. SWFA said 2-3 weeks.. I wasn't hearing that noise....
-
this isn't illuminated though right? I just called they said they didn't have any....
-
I got the same email.. Ticks me off too, because I called this morning to change the shipping method and they told me it had already been packed and processed for shipping. So, then I call back just now and they tell me that it has shipped. So, I ask why I got this message? The guy says, I am not sure but your order has been shipped. So I ask, how do you know if you don't even know who I am? After a few moments of silence, he asks for my order number... I tell him and he says, "Oh. Your order is on back order." Well, I just ordered it from Whittakers per Chris' post. I went ahead and got the illuminated one. I had to pay $10.00 more for using a credit card. At least I know they had it because the lady said she was looking right at it. I have done many $1000's of dollars worth of business with SWFA (I bought 100 Leupold Scopes for the Darwin Foundation in Ecuador through them several years ago, not to mention my own personal scopes) without a single issue. This ticks me off! You got the same one the XTR from this other guy? I might call them too then.
-
Well I just got the we regret to inform you that your order is backordered email!!

Join the club. I'm officially blaming Jack Suber for doing a gmail hypnosis thing... at least that's the story I'm telling my wife. I ordered mine this morning too. Oh yeah, right! Weren't you the one that told me to take a look at these in the first place? Yeah well we can both sit in the room at GA Sectional eating PB&J's wishing we were out with everyone else eating steak yelling "HEY ACHMED!! I'M A COUGAR DURKA DURKA ROWR!!!" out the window! Oh shoot you guys are right around the corner from me too. I am in Atlanta.. We need to hook up and shoot these babies.. My rifle should be in this week too..
-
Do it for the kids.. I love it!!!!!

Great which means one of us will not get one because they are out of stock.. I am blaming that on you guys as well... I also blame Jack for spending my money, and to a lesser extent Chris.

I hate you guys!!! I ordered one too. Along with the larue mount that better cook me breakfast this weekend... I need another job!
-
OK so thats the euro diamond not the xtr-14 What the heck is thing hanging off it? Will it take a few seconds off my score??
-
What are you guys mouting these babies on the larue spr I had kind of taken for granted that I would use the SPR until i saw the price 219 seems awfully steep for a small chunk of metal.. Now I have to go look at the euro diamond. See what thats all about. The one I saw today came with mounts. Some pretty hefty looking mounts, already on the tube. Each side of the ring had 3 hex screws on it....I wouldn't worry about those suckers breaking. When I looked at them on SWFA, the version with the fast fire has the rings included in the pic. The plain version does not. So, I am assuming the rings come only with the XTR and FastFire combo. The only problem it the fastfire puts you in open division and I plan on shooting in tactical...

I am not sure how worthwhile it is to look for that reticle. I read that it was calibrated with a certain grain weight and everything. I get the feeling that if you use any other type of ammo that it wasn't calibrated with you will be off a bit.. If I am wrong feel free to correct me.. If you load your own you can tune the load to the reticle. I think the reticle is for a 62 grn bullet traveling @ X feet per second. I can look if you want me to. Chris C. You're costing me a fortune. 215 for the spr-e and now another 200 something for reloading dies.. I've already bought a stake in freddie mac, fannie mae, and AIG this month there is only so much to go around I think your right though I remember seeing the 62 gr thing now that you mention it.
