M ammo

I have a full size stock on it,, but don't think I have a heavy,,, or know if the buffer is a 308 type/// weight,, I ordered new buffer and spring just in case,, if i need ot make the buffle heavy,,, I can add some weight,, I'll give it a try,, at this point,,, I will not have much I have not tried,, oh ya,, I'm shooting 147's- 150's

I ordered that kit and the spring with the rubber ring and all that too,, I changed out the barrel, to Rainier, so that should not be a problem,,, hoping for the best,, thanks for the input,

LR 308 DPMS,, Extractor I have had this gun for a while, it has always been trouble. Anyhow, it does not like to extract the spent case, Yes I have changed to a heavy duty extractor Spring, and I have the little plastic thing in it, too. My question out in Enos land,,, is their such a thing as an Enhanced Extractor for a DMPS 308,, Bolt.????????????? I’m figure if I replace the extractor I might as well go with the best one I can find.

Don't know how it happen,, it was a well used gun when I got it,, Kurt M was able to help me out picking out the correct one to fit, for some I could not find the M2 trigger group on Brownells they seemed to have all of the other one's the gun had it's millionth,, round for all that I know,, any whooooo the new one is on order and Jr Shooter! will have a good gun to shoot the Texas Multi Gun Match!! I had an M2 trigger group, break in half,, Brownells has trigger groups,,, I want to get one thats all together, they all look the same,, but only the stripped one says,, M2 http://www.brownells...6157-15283.aspx do you know if that one will fit,, a good old M2??

Silly question. AMMO I’m counting,, and as we all know ammo is hard to come by,,, I’m shooting Heavy, Rifle ammo count, estimation,, yes it maybe early to be asking,,, but it will probably take me, until August to get that, amount of 308 I’ll need for the match,

AMMO I’m counting,, and as we all know ammo is hard to come by,,, I’m shooting Heavy, the proposed round count for rifle is 200,,,, seeing I’m shooting 308,,, with the rules, of hevy only having to shoot ONE hole in a paper Target, can I assume,, with the rules,, of heavy, If I don’t miss,, I will need LESS that the 200 Rounds??????

Looking for load, 308, 150 GR 20 inch barrel that will give me 2750FPS. I just put a new barrel on my AR,,,, 308 a 20 inch,, I want the bullets to go 2750 so that they will match the drops in my scope. I know I'm going to use 150 and 155 gr bullets and use TAC powder. Anyone have data that will get me at 2750?

Leupold is shooting themselfs in the Foot. Other companies,, Have jumped on the 3 gun Wagon and had 3 Gun Scopes out years before,, people are finding out that a so called 3 gun scope,,, is the best all around scope for all types of shooting. not just 3 gun,, Leupold is late in the game..

I just talked to the guy at Winchester, They are sending a UPS shipping lable,, and I'll send them a batch of loaded rounds, they will test them. It will take 4 to 5 weeks,, for them to get back with me.

25 years of loading and WIn has been my go to! primer,,, this is the first time,, I have this type of problem,,,

It was durring a match and I did not get to try and re-shoot any of the rounds,, I know I know,,, but the primer hits,, looked good, If it was in just one Gun,, I would have went with the GUN. but it was in 5 different guns,, some stock and some with trigger jobs, they all worked well with the other lot of primers,, I load them on a 650,,, and I know I set them ok, I Case gage every round and check the primer, when I do it,, I've always been happy when I have Win!! Primers,, they have been the best,,, just this one batch,,, Win,, e-mailed me back,, and gave me a PH #### and a Person to call so I'll let them know what happen ,,,

Has anyone else ran into a bad batch of Winchester Small Pistol Primers? At first I thought it was the gun, and XDM with a Springer trigger job, then it happen with a second gun a Glock 34 Then a Third gun an XDM (Stock out of the box), then a STI, and a Friends STI. I had another batch of re-loads with Magtech primers. Same load same Press same settings, they ran flawlessly. The second 1000 with the Win SPP,,,,, %20 did not go off. It made for an interesting match! I'll dig the LOT# out of the trash and,, contact someone at Winchester. I still have 1000 in the box,, that I want to re check the lot # but am More than reluctant to use! Has anyone else ran into a bad batch of Winchester Small Pistol Primers?
