I went with a Safariland 014 Holster and a ELS belt and pouches for my Tanfoglio Gold Custom. The Safariland gear is a bit more expensive than most options, but I really like the modularity of it. I shoot Open, some Limited, and 3-Gun, and with all the right pouches, I can use that rig in all 3 sports.

I never got the new issue. Hoping the Aug/Sept issue finds its way to my mailbox. Also: Yes for a digital version!

Just recently got a few test loads worked up. Powder is very nice! Gun recoils very softly with it, and it's fast! I figured 6 grains would be minor, but nope 1330fps with a 130gr! So, my next batch I'll drop down around 5.6-5.8, see where those chrono at.

I was using Power Pistol for my loads, which was working okay. However, talking with a couple other Gold Custom shooters at my club, and they heartily recommended IMR 7625. So, I ordered a few pounds a while back, and it just arrived on Friday. So I will be starting load development with it soon.....as soon as I find some primers!

5.37KG = 11.8lbs 6.15KG = 13.5lbs I don't know the weight of the spring that was in the gun from the factory, but it is lighter than the 11 lb one. I refer to it as the 'default' spring. I can say that in my Gold Custom, the default spring wouldn't always let factory Winchester +P ammo cycle! It works fine for my bunny fart Minor load. I use the 11 lb spring for my Major load, which is right at 170PF with a 130 gr bullet.

*Casts Thread Resurrection* I use the new Safariland 014 for my Gold Team. Love it. I also shoot 3-gun, and have day dreamed about going open there so I can use the Gold Team. However, I've only used it in a couple of USPSA matches. It's been great so far, but I haven't had to run, crawl, jump, etc with it, so I can't say how it would do in a more 'physical' match like 3-Gun.

I also just got a ELS belt system recently. I need a couple more mag pouches for my Tanfoglio Gold Custom (the Safariland ones are pricey, and don't seem to be all that great from the one I have). I've been wondering how to modify other brands to work with the ELS system. Good to know that Blade-Tech stuff might work with it. One of my plans for the belt is to put my Limited rig on there, which uses a Blade-Tech DOH. I'm thinking of just buying something cheap, like a Fobus belt slide pouch, and drill and mount those funky screw mounts, and see how that works. Yeah, Open Div is expensive, but dropping out $40+ bucks for a plastic mag pouch is a bit silly....

I've run PowerPistol, and I agree, it's flashy! When running it through my 9mm SP01, I was asked several times if it 'was a 10 mm'. Heh. I have a test batch of ammo for my new .38 Super, primarily cause I remembered all the flash, and am hoping it works well in the comp!

After some digging here, I came across a post with a size: M4-0.7mm. I measured the gun, and went to the hardware store. Got a set of screws for both sides. I have a single sided Double AA mount. I need to trim the screws down a bit to not drag on the slide, but I am just about in business! I'll post back with final dimensions for future reference.

Finally got my mount and optic for my Gold Custom. But, of course, no screws to put the mount on the Gun! Does anyone know the specs of the screws for it? It's been sitting in the safe for a month waiting on the mount. Hoping I can find the screws this weekend. If not, I'll order a set from Henning on Monday. But man, I want to get it going this weekend!

Very nice! I like how the dot stayed dang near perfectly still! I;ve shot some Power Pistol 9mm, and even in daylight, I get some compliments and questions about what the heck I'm shooting! Not every day your 9mm gets compared to a 10mm or a .357 mag...

Wow! Wish I would have found that! I just ordered a .38 Super, and ordered a Grey C-More for it. Needless to say....I paid a tad more than $900!

Well, I just ordered one in .38 Super. I'm the same way as the OP, love my CZs, but the Czechmate is still a bit too rich for my blood right now. I almost went with 9mm too, since I already have a stock pile of components and load data for that cartridge. But, went with the .38 Super cause, hey, it's a Open Race Gun, .38 Super works too dang well for that role!

I shoot limited minor with my CZ SP01. I like the 9mm so much, I am seriously wanting to go Open Minor with a 9mm Czechmate.
