Have you ever had someone take something you did or said and twist it till it will probably cost you the most important thing in your life. The thing that really burns my a$$ is the it is done in sheer spite and has nothing to do with them. To these people I hope it is a long eternity in a very hot place if you catch my drift.

As for aks i have three a preban hungarian , a century m-70 yugo under folder and a romak. The hungarian and yugo are what for what on accuracy while the romak opens up just a bit past 50yds. If your friend is looking for quality I would go with either an arsenal,or a feg imported hungarian(hard to find). The century yugos are nice if you can find a good deal on one(under foldedrs suck to shoot but sure do look cool). But in the grand scheme of things the romak will be just as good. Then there are the poly tech guns(china) which are nice but a $1800 ak is rediculous. Its all about how much you want to spend. As a later thought you might want to steer him towards a ak in 223. 7.62x39 is getting hard to find and expensive.

Im looking for a 9mm major spreed sheet that was on the sight a while back. tried the search and coudlnt find it . I think tim warner was the one who did it .

You will need to file the rear sight to get it to fit. Also when you knock the sight in lay the slide on somethimg to protect the finnish it come off pretty easy. Dont ask me how i know just trust me on this one.

anyone tried e3 for 40 major? if so what was your load.

Have they perfected the multi color coatings yet? I realy want my sti two tone but still have the more durable finnish.

para dawson pads will work. I have a still open gun and use some 126 mags for steel.

I assume the only place to get the dpms 18 in barrel is from dpms. Anyone tried the saber defense 18

Ive been playing with an open gun and almost forgot about this thread. thanks to all for the info you have shared. M118lr I like the wilson barrels alot. It is true that is what rock river uses for their factory barrels. I have built three rifles with them 1 for me and 2 for friends. My rifle has a 16 in heavy with a midd length gas system. @ 100 yards it will do 1.5 in off the bench w/ wwb 55gr fmj (keep in mind im useing a trijicon tri power with no magnification). Need to find some time to do some handloads for it though. As of right now i want an 18in tube. does anyone have any experiance good or bad with ar15barrels .com. please pm me if you need to to give me the scoop.

I am new to open so here it goes. I just got a roy schmidt 9 major gun. shot some lead through it on purpose. The gun has a bedell ti comp on it . I used the 50/50 mix which worked pretty good but then i didnt have a brush to get in there and scrub . I took a 22 cal copper rifle brush and bent it into a u shape worked like a charm.

I hate it when that happens. I am leaning towards the dpms. does anyone know of a smith that can spec a upper for me ? I have a colt 6724 that the barrel seems to be "off" in the receiver.

Im looking to build a 20" ar for some 3gun/multigun matches. Do any of you have any experiance with the er shaw barrels or would i be better off with a dpms barrel? I have built a few ar15s in the past but have used wilson barrels. The ranges we shoot at wont be more than 300yds thanks

The bullet im useing is a truncated cone with a slight round nose to it. im sizing them on a lyman lube sizer to .356 but i have a star on the way so i may wait until it comes in before i do anything. I do have a gunsmith around here that has reamed a kkm and lone wolf barrel for me so that i can load long. The bullets loaded to 1.160 fit in the mag with a little to spare. The cast bullet is only a little longer than a 147 hornady xtp, if i take the recomended oal of the xtp and add the extra lenght of my cast bullet it should be loaded to 1.125 according to the manuel. But i ussually like to load as long as the chamber will allow. Im gonna wait until i get the star lube sizer just in case it is a inconsistancy in the lyman. If i do get the "free bore" cut i will post the results. Thanks all to the replies and views you have given me.

Has anyone tried cutting the throat deeper on the barrel so that you can use a bullet with a ogive further forward on the bullet? If you have were there any ill effects? I am loading a nei 147 gr at 1.120 oal but would rather load a little longer.

go to ktog.com or org. some of the guns need a "fluff and buff" to clean them up. i have a p32 and it run s 100% . A friend bought a p32 that would hicup every now and then , he did a fluff and buff now it is 100% for the last 500 rds of fiocchi. Do some research on the pf 9 at first they had some problems with them. From what i have heard they have resolved the problems on the last 2 series of pistols(i think there are 3). Anyway ktog has a lot of good info on these little guns.

Ive been reloading for a while now but have some questions for those that know. Been loading for a g 34 ,my oal has been 1.160 w/147gr bullets. What oal/bullet weight are you using w/ your sp01?

Shot the first 9 stages today, it was a hoot. Not to rub it in but those of you that couldnt make it r missing a hell of a match.

i have a kkm drop in for my g34 that has been great. I was cleaning the pistol tonight and noticed that the left side of the barrel hood near the breach face and runnig up and down (the one opposite the ejection port) is starting to round over. Have any of you had this happen before? I have approx 5000 rds through the gun and probably clean it more than a glock should be cleaned also the ammo im running is a 140 pf load . Any insight will help

i use the ismi 13 lb with the ismi steel guide rod. my loads r light a 155 gr lead 38super bullet sized to .356 w/ light load of univ. no problems w all coils on the spring. i believe the 23 is a 19lb spring from the factory
