I bought one from CZ Customs in 9mm a few weeks ago. I really like it. It's accurate and very easy to shoot. Now I just need to find a holster that works with the frame mounted red dot and the thumb rest. I'll probably go with something like a DAA race holster even though I don't shoot competitions.

I don't use a Romeo1 Pro on my Canik. I use the Mecanik M02 that came with the pistol.

My Rival S seems to be the older design, but it has functioned flawlessly. What problem is the expanded groove supposed to solve?

I must have gotten lucky with my Rival-S. It eats everything I feed it including my 124 Berry FP reloads. It did have an occasional lazy return to battery, but I'm hoping the reduced power striker spring fixes that. I really like this pistol and I'm still amazed how well it shoots. Quite a bargain for the money so far.

I shoot mine in the bright Oklahoma summer sunshine. I don't have a problem with the dot.

My Rival-S eats everything I feed it. All factory ammo that I've tried works. Berry 147 RN at 1.15 work well as to PD 124 HP's at 1.10.

I'm using the one that came with my Rival-S. The Mecanik sight works just fine. I like the Romeo 1 Pro a little better, but this sight works. It doesn't have the "shake awake" feature, but pushing a button is no problem on a range gun for me.

I agree. There was a lot of that. I did enjoy some of the "how to" info on that site though. I think it was posted by a guy with the screen name of Weapon or something like that.

Now I get a virus warning when I try to go to CanikFanatik forum. It's not a https site. Has anyone else tried to go there?

I bought a Canik thumb rest. This thing is huge and it works well, but I can't find a holster to fit my Rival-S Chrome with the thumb rest installed. Has anyone found one that works?

Those look good! How do they compare to the one-piece Canik grips?
