If I understand right, if you send your gun to CGW and have them install the pro package, don't they do polishing and fitting themselves? Just curious other than the labor of having them install it if there are any perks to having them do it versus yourself.

So I have 2 OR S2's. One is setup for SAO and I'm using for multigun. Being that the current OR S2's ship with flat safeties, I'm just looking for something easier to manipulate when drawing in SAO. For my DA/SA CO rig, the flat safety is fine since it doesn't need to be flipped on/off when drawing. Maybe I can find someone that has the factory extended that went for a super extended version and will let it go. Hard to believe CGW, CZC and others don't have any options in stock.

Is there a reason you'd not run a 70 for sub minor loads other than reliability?

Sorry I meant I used quarters then once I knew how many was just right I made my own delrin spacer with the measurement.

Can vouch for this setup. Except I used quarters for spacers to tune ha.

I've ran ETS, Magpul, OEM and MBX. They all have ran great through my JP GMR15 and now JP5. I've settled with the MBX 170s some 170s with extensions for USPSA and OEM 17 rounders for Steel Challenge. The MBX feel great to reload with and just feel great overall. But they aren't cheap unfortunately. I have had many issues with OEM 33 rounders with aftermarket extensions though.

CGW guys told me they get their stuff from McMaster. So just have to see what the replace is from CGW vs buying a minimum 50-100 count from McMaster plus shipping.

Looking to upgrade from a flat to extended safety. One issue is nowhere has any in stock. Also didn't know if there was a preference?

agree the current brass + g10 are great but idk why they haven't made a palmswell version yet. Would be a hit IMO

What he said. Even if you are a smaller person your run out of real estate quickly if you mount anything on the handguard.

I didn't have any issues dropping mine in. But it was tight.
