Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. It can be depending on how you tune the pre/overtravel screw.
  2. The SAO version has the disconnector removed. This means you can finely tune the pre-travel down to almost nothing using the pre-travel screw. I did an SAO conversion on mine and also added competition springs. The trigger pull is < 2lbs and I tuned it to have about 3mm of pre-travel.
  3. I just installed the ghost connector. Using a Lyman to test, I'm at just under 1600g now. No need for me to go any lighter.
  4. I reduced the mainspring down 10# with my SRH. Has anyone heard of hangfires happening with reduced power springs? With a revolver the round would have moved such that it's no longer aligned with the barrel and the gun would basically explode. Debating if I should up it to 12#.
  5. I found a vid where the guy does shows Lyman results on camera. The aftermarket connector dropped the pull weight by about 200g. If thats the case, it would put me at about 1700g after all is said and done.
  6. I decided to order a Ghost Inc. Edge connector. I'm just looking to drop the pull weight by another 10%. Timney seems great for competition, but I'm worried about carrying something with a trigger pull under 3#.
  7. I have a G20. I've tried a reduced power safety plunger spring and increased power trigger return spring. Still not happy with my Glock's trigger pull. Anyone running a Timney in their carry gun?
  8. I decided to go with the 10# to start with. It's noticeably lighter. I'll be sure to test it at the range before carrying it.
  9. I've ordered a Wolf spring set with a 9#, 10# and 12# spring. I'm thinking of going with the 10# spring. Anyone run into light strikes with the 10#?
  10. I'm going to buy the Victory trigger then probably epoxy a 1/4" trigger shoe on it to get the desired lop. I can drill the shoe before installing so I can still access the over travel screw. It's just interesting to me that there aren't more options out there.
  11. That's a bit better, but ideally it would be another quarter inch forward. There was a fully adjustable one released in 2018 by Majestic Arms, but it's since been discontinued. I'm surprised no one is making an extended LOP trigger to take its place.
  12. Anything on the market to increase the LOP for the MK IV 22/45? I can't find anything on stock.

A potential issue would be if one of the lowers is running a lighter hammer spring, and the upper has the factory firing pin / spring.
