Shmella
I got an rts2 with a v3 board (checked by pulling the battery and reinserting.) it's going to sit on an sv imm 9major should I just go ahead and send it in to be upgraded for the v4 board or try it out and wait for it to fail before going through the hassle? What's the cost to upgrade to the v4 and how long does it take cmore to do it? Is it just a hit or miss thing or is the v3 inevitably going to fail on an open gun? teros135
I believe C-More will replace an pre-V4 board at no charge. It may take a couple of weeks; call them to make sure.
tyler2you
Yes, they will update you to the v4 board at no cost other than shipping to get it to them. Turnaround time is dependent on their current workload. The first one I sent back was returned in under 2 weeks. The second one was closer to 5 weeks. mikeAZ
So, how do you tell one board from another?......
theWacoKid
1 minute ago, mike NM said: So, how do you tell one board from another?...... With the dot on, pull out the battery. Wait a few seconds and reinstall. The dot will automatically come back on with the insertion of the battery only if it is the v4.
