  1. Hello I just bought a new hunting rifle chambered in 300 win mag. The only problem I am having is when I go to close the bolt fully with a round in the chamber it is tight like very tight. But after I get the bolt to close and the round is seated in the bolt face on the extractor I pull the bolt back a inch or so and when I push it in again after it is seated it goes right in not sure if it is an extractor problem or chamber
  2. Overhauling my 1911 last night, discovered the rear ejector post sheared off in the frame. I tried the simple fixes (heat, gently tapping, etc) no luck. It wont even rotate in place when torqued with a dental pick. I'm going to need a competent guy to drill it out, and fast. Any suggestions?
  3. I bought my 9 major gun used, the top end was brand new but the bottom end seems to have had a lot of rounds through it. The face of the ejector looks to have been shaped like a Brazos tuned at one point, but seems to have flattened out quite a bit. I have some infrequent FTE's and I am trying to determine if mag related or ejector related. Some friends at the last match pointed out that every now and again the ejection pattern changes and a few weak ones come out. It is also showing dings on the bottom of the scope, a fairly recent development. At the same time I have identified two inconsistent mags. I have a new Brazos tuned ejector on order, but was curious to get some opinions on the life span of an ejector. Wes
  4. I recently had my gen 4 glock trigger crack right by the tip of the safety to the top of the trigger, rare but it happened so glock replaced the whole assembly within one day. Great customer service. Oddly though the housing which holds the ejector ( not the trigger or bar) has a number stamp on it which is a #2. Now my glock 22 has a #1 and my glock 35 has a #1 as well which kinda made me wonder if this is the right housing assembly? Any info would be greatly appreciated.
