Cool Springs and Griswoldville(if they are still shooting there) are the closest at about 30 miles drive from WR, but all the matches I went to in that area were good. As far as a place to practice, there used to be an indoor range in Macon and most of the out door ranges require a membership to shoot other than matchs. You might give the guys at the out door ranges a call to see if you could work something out for the time your there, I would recommend Cool Springs. There is a free outdoor range in the WMA going toward Cochran(SW of Warner Robins), but you wouldn't be able to do much there except stand and shoot. Good luck and enjoy your time down there.
