Maxpedition Colossus pictorial and a mini review

Finally found a shooting bag that fits my needs. I did not want to haul a huge range bag anymore and so I started looking for a "smaller" one. Fortunately, I came across this bag from Maxpedition. This bag is the Colossus model from their versipack collection.

The first thing you notice with Maxpedition gear is the superb quality of their products. I like how any of their bag can be customized with accessories. I added a roly poly pack pouch, a cell phone pouch and a general all purpose pouch.

Contents:

Pistol Limited class STI ( it will fit an open gun)

300 rounds of ammo

4 140mm magazines

some tools (my friends brings the rest)

flashlight

pocket knife

magazine loader

ear muff

cell phone

I don't even use the front compartment. Maybe for more tools or lunch like a "flattened" sandwich

Nice bag! I have a fatboy that I use for daily carry.

How does it work when you've got your gun belt on? Does it get in the way of the gun or mags and knock them around?

Surprisingly, it does not interfere with my belt. I can sling the bag over the holster and place it behind my butt.

Great review and thanks for the pics! I've been thinking of going this way but I was looking at the Jumbo-S... However, I think the Colossus is the way to go.

If you had do to it over, would you change anything?
