uscbigdawg
Between bird shot, spreaders, buckshot and slugs, what do you y'all carry in your bag for a match? Granted round count and # of slugs is usually dictated, but the shot selection is so varied, I'm curious what to carry. For instance, up 'til now, I usually pack: X amount of rounds of 7.5's or 8's. 1-1/8 oz. and 3 dram X amount of rounds of Rem. Reduced Recoil or Federal Tac Slugs If you carry spreaders or # 4's how many? Is it just preference? I usually use an IC choke in the gun, unless it's an all steel stage, and I'll switch to Mod. Any thoughts. All info appreciated. Thanks.
uscbigdawg
What are y'all packin' for SMM3G? Rich
ErikW
Nothin' but the little bird shot and a tighter choke just in case of some 40+ yard shots. Spreaders? We don't need no stinking spreaders. (Now I've done it; there will be mini clays at 5 yards at SMM3G.)

George
Fed Tac Slugs, Fed Tac Buck (00), 3 dram 1oz #7.5 and some 3.75 dram 1.25oz #4 just in case I run across some real badass steel and can't use the Tac buck on it. Haven't played with spreader shot yet. -- Regards,
uscbigdawg
Berkim, Check out Front Sight from a couple of issues ago. Patrick (I think) has a good article on these. If not there, ask some Sporting Clays guys. Rich
