Been working up some loads for my new carmonized

627 38 super.I have no reason to ever wonder how

good a swiss clock runs. THank you, thank you mike!

really likes 140 lead tc at 167 pf, also the 158 rnl II

alpha. one issue though. I bought 1000 new 38 super

+P and 10 hearthco moon clips frm TKcustom. THe

brass fits pretty loose and 4 or 5 of them 1-2-3 rounds

fall out. do i need to tweek the ends with a screw driver

or should i snd them back to tk custom with some of the

brass. the same brass fits fine in the 5 s&w moon clips

that came with the gun. The brass i purchased is Strarline

+p. I told Tom @ tk custom and he said they should wrk

just fine but wouldnt work on the starline super comp.

Some of the Hearthco clips are a little brass sensitive, but make sure your brass is not Starline brass first off. Hearthco makes some clips just for Starline as the extractor groove is pretty deep. If that is not the case call Tom and explain to him what ithe issue is, He is a good guy and will probably work with you. Also be wary of some super Comp sneakng through the brass. later rdd

On the older 686 38 super I use S&W moon clips for some brass and TK's for other.

The S&W spring steel clips work best with Starline brass and can actually be too tight on much of the range brass I have. The TK is great on range brass and also will work with 9mm and 9.x23 when I change to that cylinder.
