Your mileage may vary, but since I have to stop anyway to top up every 100 rounds, I don't find it too much to also toss in another 100 into the tube filler. You can buy a couple of tubes to fill up more or better yet, get the Autodrive like I have and once you dump the primers in, fill up the tube again while you machine is still running and making ammo.
