dcarter
This is true but I feel there is a story here. Care to share or was this just a "mind expanding" thought?
kevinj308
I believe the green banner refers to the opposition in Iran.
J-Ho
I think the current hard line mullahs got there because people were not afraid to stand up in 1979. My folks had some friends from there and they went back to help overthrow the dictatorial rule of the Shah. They were sure, after the revolution, they would have all kinds of freedom. I've got pictures of me as a kid hanging out with these guys. Wonder how their wonderful new Iranian freedom is treating them.
