I think I stretched my slide!

Check out the incredible stretching slide! Note the position of the slide at the muzzle end (at rest) and the motion and position of the slide at the hammer.

It's a cool artifact of the digital camera's non-interlaced row/column addressing and data reading scheme. The camera starts to read the sensor data from the top and/or the right before the slide starts moving, but by the time it reads the data from the other end, the slide has started to move.

A photo buff buddy said that a similar artifact happen with old cameras taking pics of race cars, since the shutter moved from top to bottom, capturing the top of the image sooner than the bottom, causing a stretching effect (sometimes resulting in eliptical shaped wheels).

missing something?

Yes, didn't realize the attachment limit size was smaller than my picture. Had to edit the image, then edit the post to include the smaller image.

Sorry 'bout that.
