Bill Schwab
I ran through Matt Burkett's dry fire drills as found on his website http://www.mattburkett.com/ under Shooting Tips. It was great! It threw some flavor in the dry fire routine, anyway one of his drills is to do a reload while going from standing to prone. This was difficult for me and to make it easier I did the reload as I was going to kneeling, and then from kneeling I dropped to prone. Any tips or advice on this? I don't think the way I was doing it was right. Bill
cpty1
For me it was always a little quicker to reload as I dropped to my knees, then go prone; instead of doing the reload then going prone with the left hand between the feet method which is the method I usually use to get prone if no reload is involved. However, YMMV.

benos
If the reload wasn't a "blur of instantaneousness," my right knee would probably touch the ground until I got the mag in. be
