ron beda
How can you tell the difference between the two? I, of course, mixed up a few and cannot distinguish them.
kevin c
How can you tell the difference between the two? I, of course, mixed up a few and cannot distinguish them. I'm going to have to go home to check which is which, but one of the two has a bevelled flat on the extractor hook that is not parallel with the other flats. Tyro Shooter
the 9 is the same dimention top to bottom on the hook edge and the 40 is wider at the top than the bottom of the hook
ron beda
Thanks. When I get home I will measure them. Ron
Braxton1
Tyro is correct. The 9mm ones have no bevel built into the hook; the 40s have a 5-degree bevel. Looking at them side-by-side, it is obvious which ones are beveled.
kframe_mike
I wonder if they wouldn't have a part number stamped on them somewhere? It just seems like I've seen a number on them.Maybe not though.-Mike
Tyro Shooter
Ok (Made me look) Now you’ve all made walk back into the Armory and get out my “box o Glock” parts 1: Are there part numbers on Glock extractors? No they are printed on the little bags 2: the part numbers from Glock are GLSP01899 this is for a Glock 40 with loaded chamber indicator 3: GLSP01895 is for the Glock 9mm’s with loaded chamber indicators. Now I need to get back to work. . . .and try to find enough 308 ammo so I can shoot Heavy Rifle at Iron Man.. . . I mean find enough ammo for the range qualifications.
