Rather-B-Huntin
I plan on concentrating mostly on Revo division this year with a 5" 625, but will be using my 5" 627 on occasion in Prod. to stay in tune for ICORE. Based on how I read the Production rules for holster position, it only has to be the appropriate type holster and stay behind the hip bone. What about angle of the holster? I'm using a Blade-Tech DOH with the muzzle canted forward which will be perfectly legal for Revo and ICORE, but can I keep it that way for Prod.?? It seems to me that I should be able to as long as it stays behind the hip bone.
Nik Habicht
You should be good to go --- but keep in mind that the entire gun needs to be behind the hip bone. See appendix E3 for a detailed diagram.....
dapribek
You should be all set. Biggest concern is holster in correct position behind hip bone. Hope this helps.
mactiger
You should be aware of this rule, also, if your gun has a severe cant when holstered: 5.2.7.3 A holster with the muzzle of the handgun pointing further than 3 feet from the competitor’s feet while standing relaxed, There are other rules in this section that deal with the position of the top of the handgun relative to your belt, etc. Troy
