Nemo Posted January 26, 2009 Share Posted January 26, 2009 A very young club that raised from the ashes of another one, not quite two years ago. This past Satuday they only charged $10 per shooter (juniors still free), had an awesome burgers and hot dogs cookout, and a raffle based on yearly attendance to their match (your name went in the hat for every match attended and twice if you got there early for setup). Did I mention they raffled TWO pistols? Hats off to Roger "Fireant" Heatherly, Kenny "kend" Dickerson and Sam Conway for making this happen and for their effort to promote practical shooting in SEGA. Fireant Posted January 26, 2009 Share Posted January 26, 2009 Thanks Nelson, I keep saying we are the biggest bargin in area6 Everyone is welcome to come up or down or over on the fourth Sat. of the month. When all was said and done we had 56 shooters. A huge increase from the almost dead club of 7 shooters on a good day. For all those close enough we will be giving away 2 more guns(at least) again next January. All you have to do is come shoot a match to qualify. To Roger and Kenny thank you for all the time and effort you have put into the matches. Great stages and great comradire every month. Sam thanks for your generous support of the club.
