Fireant
for a 1911 and one for a 2011? I thought they were the same slide, but someone told me recently that they are not. I have one from STI that the package says for 1911/2011 frames. So which is it?

zhunter
The STI .22 conversion upper I put on my Springfield 1911 frame is a bit wider, but works flawlessly. Not sure if that helps or not. Z

Z Those conversions that will work on either frame is what made me think they were all the same. But, now I wonder why people that want their 1911 slide fit to a widebody frame are always told not to do it, that it won't work right?
Jaxshooter
I can swap mine around with no problems.
