el pres
I like using standard mags coupled with Magpul Ranger Plates for a slight lift and a shock buff. I'm switching to coupled P-mags. Are there any rounded base pads for these, like the Arrendondo or Ranger Plates ?? Edited August 11, 2008 by DIRTY CHAMBER

Works for me no problem. At R&R on stage 10 this year, I was using coupled Pmags w/ranger plates. On that stage they proved to be too short, because the targets were up a slope across a field. I think the shooting point was sloped slightly downward, so I had a heck of a time monopoding on them. I got a crook in my neck. If I'd been thinking I would have just shifted into a standard prone position, but I suffer from 'buzzer dimentia' and it didn't occur to me. For that stage my 45 rnd DPMS, or even my 52 Tripp would have been better. But on the flat the Pmags seem to be a pretty good height.
