ryan45kim
Does anybody know if Smith & Wesson plans on bringing out an M&P 40 long/pro. in the future. I figured someone here might have heard from S&W if it is realy coming or just a rumor.
mike cyrwus
no public plans yet; you can bet it will come, though.
ChrisStock
I think this was brought up here awhile back. There's a lot of us waiting to see what comes down the pipe in this regards. As is, mine is so tricked out now that S&W could use mine for a template to build it. The only difference would be a longer slide/barrel. I love mine, and will shoot it until I drop, or the long version comes out, whichever happens first.
JakeMartens
They should. S&W is in a great position to become the big name in USPSA. With the M&P they have use covered in Production, introduce the the Long Slide .40s&w for Limited, L10 would be covered with the 40 and the 45, Revolver is covered. You have the 1911's for Single Stack. Got you covered with the AR's in 3 gun, just need to trick out the autoloading shotgun and now you are good to go. They also have you covered in other sports as well, IDPA, PPC, Sporting Clays, NRA Bullseye etc. I know they have a team, but they should really think about a Contingency Program for shooters.
