NMBOpen
Just saw a headline about some new cognitive research on Fox News that seems relevant to this forum.... http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,362266,00.html

BritinUSA
I remember seeing something similar a few years back. There was something about hitting or catching ball. If a person closed their eyes a few seconds before the ball got to them they were still able to catch or hit it. Not sure if this is same kind of thing or not. The article does not mention anything about seeing several days/weeks into the future which would have been really interesting.
AikiDale
Interesting. When I look at the Hering illusion with reading glasses on it appears there are curved lines. When I look at it without the cheaters, the lines appear straight.... Reality is only an illusion when it is clear....
Sam
"Illusions occur when our brains attempt to perceive the future, and those perceptions don't match reality," Changizi said. This was the only thing in the article that made any sense to me.
