jpsac2003
On the sear spring is there a good after market such as (Wolff, Clark, and etc) or should you use factory only. Thanks.

Dave C
My experience is that Para sear springs are just a tiny bit longer than standard 1911 sear springs. Anyone else notice this or is it just my imagination?

Anyone else notice this or is it just my imagination? Yup, the little slot that the bottom of the spring goes into is a tad lower than a standard 1911. Some springs won't work quite right. mike cyrwus
The best fit is to cut a 1911 spec slot in the frame, just slightly higher than what para did. A cut-off wheel on a rotary tool and a very steady hand is how i do it. steady.
Joe4d
Ive never had any problem with a standard Ed brown, (course I am also using Ed Brown sear and disconector maybe that has something to do with it. I got by for years and years before I even knew there was a difference. Check EGW supposedly they have model specific sear springs and all there other stuff is very high quality I wouldnt hesitate to use one.
