Supermoto
http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=79...09907&hl=en This a quick stage from one of our recent indoor matches. The stage required you to engage the 4 paper, reload before you engaged one of the steel, then engage the paper again, then reload again before engaging the remaining steel. I figure that it would be faster to take a procedural then to do the 2nd Reload Any tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated Edited March 27, 2008 by Supermoto
scribble
can't see the video at work but how many steel after reload, because that is the number of procedural penalties you would acquire.
Supermoto
Just 1 steel at the end
HoMiE
That looks like a pretty high HF stage. Say someone shot 90 points in 6 seconds, that is 15HF. If you shot it a second quicker without the last reload 75/5 = 15HF. Same HF, so the question becomes, can you reload faster than a second to get a higher HF? wide45
If the start required wrists above shoulders, I would not have started you. Having your hands an inch or two higher will have very little effect on your draw. Going to a match, and having the RO make you change the position you have been practicing, might mess with your head.

Ron Ankeny
At a club level match, I would do the reload even if it cost me a little. If I had something at stake, like money, I would do what ever is legal that would maximize my hit factor.
