longrange2
I really like the ACOG TA11, fine for close in work and great out to 300+ yards.
Helimech
safenate, which Aimpoint model specifically are you referring to?Thanks! I am currently using an Aimpoint ML3 with a 2 MOA dot. 50,000 hr battery life and the dot is small enough for fine work.
j0hn
If you can afford it my number one recommendation would be an Trijicon ACOG. Absolutely fantastic optic with a bullet drop off indicator, fiber optic luminated rectial, and a crystal clear lens. As others have state iron sights will get the job done quite nicely. lrsealey
An EoTech would work fine with the 1moa dot and 65moa ring if you will only shoot out to 300yds and they are pretty tough.
