MARKUSEJ
We had a 3-gun match several weeks ago and it had one long range stage where from a box you engaged 10 steel plates/poppers and 2 ipsc targets and 2 swingers. One of the competitors brought shooting sticks and used them to shoot the stage. We looked all over the rules but could not find anything mentioning shooting sticks. The closest rule we could find mentioned that a bipod must be permanently attached to the gun. Has anyone ever seen these used in a match? Loves2Shoot
I agree, it is a mono-pod or bi-pod, whick must be affixed, per the rulebook

Nate
They are the bomb. You can use them to shoot over things that a bipod would be a pain for. Drag them along if you are shooting fast, have a kneeling bipod. A lot of us use them for hunting in Montana. That said, they probably don't have a place in limited, but maybe in open.
