Super 8 in Lake Wales has rooms, 2 dbl. beds, non smoking, $66 I found another one that the owner (American btw, if it matters, it did to me) says it's 8 miles from Frank's place, it's on the same hwy I think (27?), their web site is Reeds Motel. They have a few rooms left. It looked nice from the pictures on the web site and was remodeled last year, we'll see. $89 for two people, 2 dbl beds, non smoking. L9X25 Posted November 18, 2007 Share Posted November 18, 2007 The Reed Motel is about 18-20 miles from Frank's range. I am not sure where the "8 miles" from Franks comes from. It's about 8 miles up 27 before you turn off of 27 heading for Frostproof and then about 10 miles more before you get to Franks. Better re-check the information before you reserve anything.
