hiropro
Ok I started to lube my 9mm a whille back. It makes the operation of the press (XL650) much smoother and more reliable. here is my question. Would the lanolin in the dillion lube possible effect the ammo in the future? Granted I dont try to get the lube inside the case, however it does happen. just spray a pile of them and then throw em in the casefeeeder. I like to load in batches of upwards of 20K and I may not load for that cal for a while. I dont want to do a stack of 9mm only to have them not work next year when i fire them. thanks for the input Hiro
basman
I use One Shot lube and some must get inside the case. does not seem to matter. I often leave lubed cases in the casefeeder for weeks at a time, the lube seems to slowly evaporate.
D.Hayden
Not exactly to the question, but.. Any reason you're not just using Hornady OneShot?
hiropro
I just have 4 bottles of dillion lube. when I am out of that then I will try the one shot. Economics I guess hiro
D.Hayden
Ahh.. lol.. that sounds too close to home.. If you can find some rifle shooters over there.. trade them one for one. I think the one bottle of DIllon lube I have, is about 1/3 - 1/2 of the way empty after sizing 10K .223 cases.
