Finally read the FAQs

Finally read the FAQs (3/11)

  1. Well it looks like I'm back shooting again after an absence of possibly 10 years my youngest daughter has developed an interest in this Sport. I am currently digging through my boxes of junk trying to find things that would work for my glock 21 and she has declared she wants to compete with my Glock 19. I look forward to many conversations with all of you and hopefully Facebook has not robbed us of too many proactive members. I am located in Reno Nevada so if you are involved with local clubs please let me know.
  2. just accross the tail with a wide marks a lot marker for rifle. pistol I dont really care
  3. another vote for the inline fab. I have one on a 650 and it makes the weird stuff like the smith 500 and such much easier
  4. I was in 4 maybe 5 groups. I have to echo glock021 they all were soso. Here is probably the best group I have found for dillon info as to buy sell that is hit or miss everywhere.
  5. WOw this is quite a bit to keep up with I just started to get a game plan on my saiga 12. I just hit a road block with my AGP mags not even feeding. But AGP says they will make them 100% so I guess I will start there.
  6. Tatto I called everybody I know to see if they have a copy of it and no dice. If you could dig it up for me I owe you a beer if you are ever in Reno. thanks
  7. since the chance of getting a resupply on FMJs is slim now I must dip into these. Problem is I cant find data anywhere for these. Have any of you loaded these? My powder of choice and supply is 296 and I really wnat to use this since I have 12# of it thanks
  8. My chrono caught a round 3 months back and I am not at the funding level to replace it. Need to drop the dime to replace it but I am saving up for 3 more AR lowers for various games, high power and 3 gun amongst them. dman I hate being low on cash. thanks like I said any and all info is welcome and thanks
  9. So dont worry about using mag primers with the 231 but dont try with the AA2? This is the only loading components that I currently have that would work for the 9mm. my concern is subbing in the magnum primers as through all the years loading this the first time I have ever not had or been able to find regular small pistol primers. Note that this is for practice ammo.
  10. Ok I just went through my last batch of 9mm practice loads I pull the cover off of the dillon and I go to grab the bullets powder and primers well this is what I have: 231 AA#2 3k 110 FMJ and 6k federal small pistol MAGNUM primers Im not even sure where I go these. DO I even have a chance of putting together a safe load that will run in the glock 19? any help is needed as I really want to shoot. Im checking all my notes and it seems I never have even tried to sub magnums for regular small pistol primers before. Oh yeah I have no 357 mag guns.
  11. I guess my google fu is super weak. I have a Glock 21 with a KKM comp on the front. Looking for an Open class holster. thanks
  12. Im building my first glock a 21 into an open gun now. I got it in 92? IIRC. shot local matches with it for years it is going to get a new KKM barrel and comp soon too. I have the jpoint for it I just have not mounted it yet.
  13. Got a friend in Europe is asking me for help in finding a decent rail for his CZ. Not sure why he wants to go with a rail mount but it may be cos he is looking at over a year wait if he wants to send it to the local smith. Is there a decent mount made here or anywhere that allows a low mounting platform for the SP-01 off of the acc. rail? I welcome and thank any help. jim
  14. pistol brass I run until it just looks bad. rifle, well bolt gun up to 6 loads gas gun 3 loads I still have some 45 brass my dad gave me in 90. loads great.
  15. I shoot in summer and winter here in NV the temps vary quite a bit. what I have now is some amazingly consistant WC846 from years ago that I just used up my last 8 pounds of. Time to find a new powder. Oh yeah I am looking for a 3 gun load with 62s and maybe some 55s. thanks Jim
