Duane Thomas
Learn to become a good one-hand only shooter. Now, in the overall scheme of things, LHO and RHO stages don't come around that often. However, when they do, because most people can't shoot well LHO/RHO, if you can, you will come out WAY ahead of almost everyone else.
bruce282
If you insist on dumping rounds on a close target, go for head shots. It's more believable to have two head shots and a miss than it is to have two -0 COM that only need one paster to cover, and a miss. Of course I am not advocating breaking any rules. freeidaho
Here is an unusual thought, Just follow the rules, all of them, all of the time. I know, I know, this is a controversial thought in this world that thinks nothing is ever wrong unless you get caught. Ken Reed
dlcrouch
When ordered to load and make ready, don't forget to rack the slide. I did that on one stage in my first match last month.
solaritx
Remember that IDPA is FUN. It is also fun to jack around verbally with your friends, especially at the local match. BUT ONE MUST REMEMBER, if the one you pick on the most happens to be the one posting the scores......well......last match instead of first in ESP/MA.......it was DNF <G> Garry Newton
vincent
Practice shooting at targets with clear plastic bags over them so that the first time you see it is not at a major match. Same goes with shooting at targets with shirts over them.
gunsablazin
For the love of God don't try to make up a -1 hit, always shoot for zeros but when you see a -1 leave it alone. Very few of us can shoot fast enough to make the math work out. Shoots -1, see -1 decide to shoot again, shoot. For most of us this will take alot longer than .5 seconds! jkelly
101) Assume the SO has a specific plan for how you are to shoot the stage. Reason: The SO will likely interpret the rules to require such. 102) Phrase questions so that answers will either be “Yes” or “No”. Reason: This leaves the SO less wiggle room for an “in retrospect” rule interpretation Respectfully, jkelly
