Advice on problems with S@W 617 .22

I have a S@W 617 .22 that hits primers to light on ammo.  It's been to the factory 3 times.  It's had a new firing pin and the timing was checked.  It's up to me to fix it now. S@W is no longer going to help.  They think it is the ammo, but I have tried many different types of ammo all with the same failure rate wich is about 3 in 10 rounds not firing. Winchester is by far the best ammo to work with about 2 in 50 not firing.  If I am to start replacing parts to get more consistentcy which parts should I try?    And yes I have adjusted the mainspring all the way up.  I know that .22 ammo is known for failing more than centerfire but not at the rate and different types I have tried.

Are all the chambers clean? Sometimes 22's can gunk up after a few shots & the round won't go quite all the way in. Then the firing pin pushes the round into the chamber farther instead of hitting the rim hard enough to fire. Try pushing on the rear of each cartridge when you drop them into the chamber.
