LadyinBlue
I am so happy to see that the new software includes a spell checker! Now I'll have to show Jim how to use it.

Merlin Orr
I really think this new feature is too cool. The same thing is on about half the spam I receive.
born-in-45
I am continuing to have two "problems" since the software upgrade last week. 1) The site will not remember me - I have to log in every time I bring my browser up and access the site. 2) I am using AOL with a Dial-up line (yuk) and the response time has easily slowed down ten-fold since the upgrade. It takes forever to display the initial page and follow-on pages. Not sure exactly when it started but was sometime last week. By the way, I am not noticing the response slow down on other sites I access so I assume it has to be something with how my computer is interacting with the new software. Anyone else out there on AOL using Dial-up and if so are you experiencing the same thing???

D.Hayden
Merlin.. it's only on the Full Edit, or Reply, not on the fast Reply.. Click on the ABC.. it should ask to install.. On Fast Reply, you have to click on the tool bar..
Merlin Orr
ahhh... I don't think this will happen with Mozilla Firefox...? Perhaps the spellcheck is browser specific?
D.Hayden
Yup.. it's a IE thing.. the Abc is to the left of undo button... but.. Firefox has it built in..... (at least on 2.0.0.2) that I have

Exactly the same problem here - well - I have a broadband cell modem from Sprint but have the WAY slower response as you do. I gave up on AOL with the Forums and have to use Mozilla now.
