hopalong
Was watching Golf on TV today, they were interviewing Jerry Kelly( leader at South Carolina) and asked him about the Olympic shooter? He(Kelly) has been working with Lanny Basham to improve his Golf game........pretty cool to see it mentioned on TV (and Kelly didn't go into any details). Good for you Mr. Basham! Steve Moneypenny
That's awesome! any tv coverage that involves a gun in positive light is great! Lanny has helped thousands, in all kinds of sports...even references to him and his work in business and sales. Crazy how things can all entwine
Tangram
A set of ideas coming from golf experience is found in Rotella's books Golf Is Not A Game Of Perfect and Golf Is A Game Of Confidence. I know these books have been mentioned before on this site, but I thought it worth plugging them again.
Duane Thomas
In his '95 GunGames interview, Robbie Leatham said that of all the other sports he's ever tried, golf reminded him the most of IPSC shooting in its mental game. I know some people find it irritating to compare what we do to golf, but frankly, in my opinion, any shooter who turns their back on the centuries of lessons to be learned from golf is a frickin' idiot.
