jpsac2003
I'll do that first thing Monday. Thanks.
Micah
Call Glock and ask: 770-432-1202 +1. A 4 minute phone call will take care of it. Only a tiny handfull of guns were affected anyway, so I'd imagine that you won't have any problems.
Flexmoney
There used to be a thread on GT that gave the step-by-step how-to's of getting a new frame out of Glock. At the time, the 1st gen frames were super cheap. We may have even talked about it here. But, that is been...like...4 years ago, at least.
mwx40x40
Sounds like a good excuse to get one of those new fangled Alloy frames!!
jpsac2003
Called this morning about replacing my frame. 150.00 plus tax and that I will have to go through a FFL when they send it back because the serial numbers will be different but I can send the frame to them myself. I'm glad a friend of my is an FFL dealer. They said it should take about two weeks. Not bad.
clown
I spoke with Herbert in Smyrna after i blew my 34 up. Customer service was really helpful. I had to fedex the gun overnight, which ran me 50 bucks and they are replacing the frame for 50 or so. I'm not sure what the price difference is in the end because he originally quoted me 150 as a worst case scenario. Hopefully i will have it back this week. Although it sounds like you got all the answers you need, give Herbert a call if you have any more.
