ErikW
Last year there was road construction which required a detour to get to PASA Park. Is that detour still there? What's the usual route?
bgary
Don't know if the detour is still there, but if you get off on the offramp before Barry (I think it goes through Hull and Kinderhook?), and then turn left onto the highway, it gets you there in just about the same amount of time as staying on the freeway to Barry. cpty1
I've heard all the construction has been finished. I'll miss driving through that creek.
Bill Schwab
I was there for the Single Stack Classic a few months ago and there was no construction.
ErikW
I guess I'm just used to CalTrans. I have to deal with traffic problems due to earthquake retrofitting on a bridge damaged 13 years ago. I think they are scheduled to complete it next year.
gm iprod
13 years?!!!! We had a bridge with a 300ft gap in it for nearly that long due to a union dispute. This bridge linked the biggest city with its only international airport. When they finally got it sorted they had to pull most of it back down as the rebar had rusted from being exposed to air over a harbour.
