i lucked into about 950 of these bullets (9mm 147grn flat-point) for the cost of shipping, which was $15 :) , but i'm having trouble finding reloading data for them.

do these behave like normal lead bullets (i.e. can i use standard lead bullet charts)? or is there a special table for these? BTW, i'm using unique powder.

thanks in advance and bear with me, i'm a reloading noob.

Hey there,

I am shooting an XD 9 Tactical

147 grn over 3.6grn bullseye, (from the Lee Loading Book)

Performs very well in my gun recoil is not bad, and punches 2" hole at 25yds

This load is good for me, but I am new to this load. The past load I was using was over Accurate powder #5, but my dealers can not get thtis for me now. I have my first match this weekend with this new load, but again all my practice has been promising. :D

I am usually a fan of titegroup - but not with the coated or lead bullets. Seems to produce too much smoke. N330 should serve you well - as should other single based, cool burning powders, and even some double based powders like Universal. BTW - there is actual published data for the 147 grn LEAD 9mm bullet and straight Clays (Lyman manual, I believe). That combo should be super soft shooting.
