reverse to infinity

So I'm on this rifle stage where you are seated on a wheeled platform. It's connected by rope and wire to a swinger activator. You scoot yourself back 10 yards or so to take out the slack and activate the swingers.

I start pedaling away, shooting close targets. Ten yards later, the swingers activate. I keep pedaling, thinking the rope is going to go taut and stop me. In my peripheral vision I see spectators fleeing while I'm pedaling. RO stops me. I've taken the cart back to the squad's shooting bags and ammo boxes.

Turns out the rope wasn't connected to anything else and I could have kept pedaling westward until I ended up in the pacific ocean.

On the reshoot I did the same thing. RO just put his foot out to stop the cart.

Then we shot the stage with a shotgun. I did the same damn thing with the cart. ROs and spectators were wise to me by this time.

I don't know, I just had it in my head the roped cart was like a leashed dog. I kept expecting it to stop.

P.S. I forgot to engage the swingers with the rifle and lost the match because of it.

I was the RO on the shotgun portion of the story. I did'nt put my foot out to stop the cart, Erik ran over my foot!!! Just Kidding
